The North Coast Clinics Network serves its members through a variety of services including policy and advocacy, training and education, quality improvement, health awareness campaigns, community collaborations and partnerships aimed at improving the health of residents on the North Coast.
Staff at NCCN serve under the direction of the Board of Directors in collaboration with the 14 Regional Associations of California (RAC) and our statewide California Primary Care Association (CPCA) as well as the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC).
Mr. Rine has served as the Executive Director for the last 12 years and has been working with NCCN for over 15 years. Under the direction of Mr. Rine, NCCN has become one of the recognized leaders for supporting community health through its member clinics focused on serving the most vulnerable and underserved residents in Northern California. Mr. Rine serves on the board of directors for several organizations including the California Primary Care Association, North Coast Health Information Network, Clinic Mutual Insurance Company and he participates in several local organizations including the Community Health Alliance of Humboldt and Del Norte, the North Coast Health Leadership Team, and the Oral Health Advisory Committee. Mr. Rine is passionate about advocating for the rural residents in our communities and for health equality for all, regardless of ability to pay.
Director of Education and Innovation
Ms. Cooke has been with NCCN for over 7 years and serves as the lead trainer and quality improvement director for NCCN members, focused on population health improvement and data analytics. Prior to joining the Network, Ms. Cooke worked in fund development at Open Door Community Health Centers and instructed English at Humboldt State University and College of the Redwoods. Ms. Cooke is a graduate of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s (IHI) Improvement Advisor program and has worked as a practice coach with numerous provider officers across the community, assisting with systems transformation, change management, and patient centered medical home recognition. She is also a faculty of the Institute for Healthcare Communication Treating Patients with C.A.R.E. program.
Brenda Rosdahl, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Rosdahl has been working with NCCN for over 9 years and serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the organization. Ms. Rosdahl works with external auditors and foundation partners on finance related issues relating to the consortium. Ms. Rosdahl works part-time for the network and also maintains her own private accounting business in McKinleyville, California.
Ms. Stromme has served as the fiscal coordinator for NCCN for over 5 years and she also serves as the main contact for financial related accounts payable and receivables. Ms. Stromme has over 25 years experience as a financial controller and financial director for the manufacturing industry prior to re-locating to Humboldt county and working with the North Coast Clinics Network.
