About the North Coast Clinics Network

NCCN has been supported by member clinics and by generous grants and subcontracts from organizations including:


Our Current projects include:

    Consortia Core Operating funds that support Network service expansion, direct services for the core operations of the network, finance, policy, advocacy and shared administrative services provided by The California Endowment

    Disaster Preparedness Consulting to assist other consortia and clinics with disaster preparedness plan preparation and for the support of clinic staff time for disaster preparedness planning activities through funds provided by Health Resources and Services Administration via the California Primary Care Association

    Clinic & Consortia Core Operating funds that support direct services for the core operations of clinics and the network. Activities include recruitment and retention for providers, finance and accounting technical assistance provided by The Blue Shield Foundation

    Rural Health Demonstration Project supporting MMO's King Salmon Clinic, RRHC's Alderpoint and school-based outreach and STHS's mobile primary care outreach through funding Provided by California Managed Risk Medical Insurance Board

    Clinic Core Operating funds that support direct services for the core operations of clinics, Americorps, and Healthy Families provided by The California Wellness Foundation funding

    Hospital Based Dentistry Project, which is increasing access to dental care for Humboldt County children, funded by The California Endowment

    Rural Health Network Development trains staff for disaster preparedness and buys disaster preparedness supplies and telecommunication equipment for clinics with funding provided by Health Resources and Services Administration through the Office of Rural Health Policy

    RWJF's Covering Kids and Families which funds the Healthy Family "in-reach" as well as the Outreach and Enrollment Assistance staff at RRHC and DNCHC, funded by the Robert Woods Johnson Foundation

    Circle of Smiles coordinates dental care for area children refered by clinics and other providers with The California Endowment funding


Insurance Education and Enrollment Assistance: Healthy Families Outreach is funded by a federal CAP grant via the Community Health Alliance, Covering kids and families, and the McLean Foundation. For more information about the program contact:
