The California Health Care Foundation has released “Partnering to Succeed: How Small Health Centers Can Improve Care and Thrive Under Value-Based Payment.” This paper is based on research by the MacColl Center for Health Care Innovation at Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute, Inc., and the JSI Training & Research Institute, as well as input from leaders across California. Kathryn Phillips, Senior Program Officer at the California Healthcare Foundation will outline seven partnership strategies than can help small community health centers adapt in our rapidly changing health care environment. Discussion will also include an overview of the framework CHCs can use to assess which partnership strategies are right for them.
