Meet the North Coast Clinics Network Team
The North Coast Clinics Network (NCCN) serves its members through a variety of services including policy and advocacy, training and education, quality improvement, health awareness campaigns, community collaborations and partnerships, and professional development aimed at improving the health of residents on the North Coast.
Strategic Partner, Health Alliance of Northern California (HANC) and NCCN also work together throughout the region to improve the health outcomes of our rural communities. Both partners work in collaboration with the Regional Associations of California (RAC), our statewide California Primary Care Association (CPCA) as well as the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC).
Tim Rine
Executive Director
Mr. Rine has served as the Executive Director for the last 19 years and has been working with NCCN for 23 years. Under the direction of Mr. Rine, NCCN has become one of the recognized leaders for supporting community health through its member clinics focused on serving the most vulnerable and underserved residents in Northern California. Mr. Rine serves on the board of directors for several organizations including the California Primary Care Association, North Coast Health Information & Improvement Network, and the Clinic Mutual Insurance Company. Mr. Rine also participates in several local organizations including the Community Health Alliance of Humboldt and Del Norte, the North Coast Health Leadership Team, and the Cal Poly Humboldt College of Professional Studies Advisory Board. Mr. Rine is passionate about advocating for the rural residents in our communities and for health equality for all, regardless of ability to pay.
Brenda Rosdahl, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Rosdahl has been working with NCCN for over 16 years and serves as the Chief Financial Officer for the organization. Ms. Rosdahl works with external auditors and foundation partners on finance related issues for the consortium. Ms. Rosdahl works part-time for the network and also maintains her own private accounting business in McKinleyville, California

Robin Schurig
Executive Director
Robin Schurig is the Executive Director for the Health Alliance of Northern California, (HANC), the sister consortia located in eastern Northern California. Ms. Schurig has over 20 years of public health experience in executive leadership, communicable disease prevention and control, emergency preparedness and response, accreditation, health equity, workforce development, quality improvement, maternal and child health, collaborative coordination, and epidemiology. She holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree and a Certification in Public Health (CPH), as well as a Bachelor’s degree is in Multicultural and Gender Studies. Her experience working extensively in building and facilitating cross-sector teams and coalitions for health improvement is an incredible asset to the HANC Team and its strategic vision. Melanie Ridley
Consultant, Quality Improvement
Melanie Ridley is a Quality Improvement expert focused on health system re-design, standardized processes and data-driven decisions to improve outcomes for patients and organizations. Gabriel Deckert
Project Director
Gabriel Deckert is a Quality Improvement and Data Informatics Director for the North Coast Clinics Network and the Health Alliance of Northern California, (HANC), the sister consortia located in eastern Northern California. Mr. Deckert is responsible for the design and implementation of data analytics for member organizations and the consortia. Mr. Deckert provides timely quantitative quality dashboards and multi-year organizational profiles as well as providing 1-on-1 technical assistance as an Improvement Advisor for consortia members.
